This zebra was my first try and paper cutting. I was very happy with the effect of feeling that the animal is floating on the paper. Images in life do not have outlines, hence they should not have outlines in art.

This piece I merged my paper cutting with illustration. I love the effect and feel it is creating a very whimsical setting for either a poster or children's book cover.

This image shows a close up detail of a paper cutting project I completed summer of 2015. I was experimenting with the contrast of white and black, applying layers of card stock to enhance the energy.
